Pay stubs for bookkeepers and accountants: one account, every client
How bookkeepers and accountants use PayStubNest to issue pay stubs for many client businesses from one account: unlimited plans, per-employer records, templates with each client's logo and YTD carried across pay runs.
Published
If you keep the books for several small businesses, pay stubs are a recurring chore: each client has its own employees, pay schedule, state and logo, and every stub has to line up with the last one. PayStubNest was built so one person can run all of that from one account.

How it works for a practice
- One account, many employers. Each client business is an employer record with its own address, EIN, employees and defaults. Switch between them in the wizard; nothing is retyped.
- Withholding for every client's state. Federal, state, Social Security and Medicare are calculated from the published tables for all 50 states and DC, for tax years 2025 and 2026.
- YTD that adds up. Year-to-date totals are carried forward from stub to stub, and a whole pay period series can be generated in one run.
- Each client's branding. 18 templates, your own template designs and the client's logo on their stubs.
- Payroll schedules. The Payroll plan prepares recurring pay runs automatically; you review and approve, the stubs are issued.
- Contractors too. 1099 payment statements for clients who pay contractors, and an optional direct deposit advice.
- Records you can show. Every issued stub stays in the account with its invoice, so the client's payroll file is complete.
What it costs
| Option | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Pay as you go | $1 per pay stub, credits never expire | A client or two with occasional stubs |
| Monthly Unlimited | $9.99 / month | Several clients on regular pay schedules |
| Yearly Unlimited | $99.99 / year | A practice that issues stubs every pay period |
The unlimited plans cover every employer and every employee in the account. There is no per-client or per-seat charge.
