This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service of PayStubNest, operated by PayStubNest.com. It explains what the Service may and may not be used for.
1. Permitted use
PayStubNest is for accurate payroll record-keeping. You may use it to create pay stubs that reflect real, accurate payroll information for pay that was actually issued or received, for example:
- an employer or small business issuing pay stubs to its employees;
- a self-employed person or contractor documenting payments they actually received;
- a bookkeeper or accountant preparing records for a client, with the client's authorization.
2. Prohibited use
You must not use the Service to:
- create a pay stub for pay that was not actually issued or received, or with amounts, dates, deductions, employer or employee details that are not accurate;
- misrepresent your or anyone else's income, employment or financial situation;
- deceive landlords, property managers, lenders, banks, insurers, employers, courts or government agencies, or support any application with a document that does not reflect actual pay;
- impersonate an employer, business or person, or use a company name, logo or identifying details you are not authorized to use;
- create documents for another person without their authorization;
- commit or facilitate fraud, identity theft, money laundering, tax evasion or any other unlawful activity;
- resell, sublicense or offer the Service or its documents as a document-creation service to others;
- interfere with the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, scrape it or access it by automated means other than those we provide.
3. Your confirmations
Before a pay stub is unlocked or downloaded, and before a series or pay run is created or approved, you confirm that the information is accurate and reflects actual pay issued or received. We keep a record of each confirmation (date and time in UTC, IP address, browser, and the related pay stub or order) as evidence of that statement.
4. Enforcement
We may review accounts and documents when we suspect a breach of this policy. Accounts that violate this policy are terminated without refund of unused credits or subscription fees. We may report suspected fraud to the affected parties and to law enforcement, and share the records described above with them.
5. Reporting misuse
If you believe a document created with PayStubNest is being misused, write to support@paystubnest.com.
